The inside of the Ohabei Shalom Chapel, on the grounds of the oldest Jewish cemetery in Massachusetts. The land was purchased in 1844 by a small group of immigrants on the then-remote island of East Boston. The chapel is in the early stages of a $3.5 million renovation.
